Set Up for Success:

With 2021 officially in the rear view mirror, it’s time to set up for success in 2022. No matter what happened in the previous year, it is time to start fresh and focus on the year ahead. Here are some practical tips to help.

Find Your Why

Before success can be achieve, it must be defined. What does success look like to you? What would need to change in order to feel successful? Why is achieving these goals important to you? Once the vision is clear, it is easier to attain.

Learn from the Past

It is important to take a critical look at 2021 and ask yourself these questions: what worked, what do you need to let go off, what do you need to do differently? Often times, people will ignore that aspects of their business that are working in order to focus on the aspects that aren’t working. Both things are equally important to overall success.

Budget Your Time

Look back on how you spent your time and how you would like to spend your time moving forward. Is what you are spending time on in line with your values? Time can be considered more valuable than money. It’s important to track how you spend hard-earned dollars, but it is equally important to also track how you spend your finite hours.

Who do you need “on your team” to make 2022 successful? It is helpful to make a list of people whose support, influence, and networks will help with your vision of success. After making the list, reach out to those people before you need their support, influence, or connections. Don’t be discouraged if you haven’t spoken to someone in a while. The beginning of the year is a natural time to reconnect.

Give Thanks

Be sure to express your gratitude for the support of any companies, client, or people that have been fundamental to your success. They will be more likely to help you again if they feel appreciated. Something as simple as a hand written note can go a long way to show thanks and appreciation.

Using these tips as a blueprint will be a great help to ensuring a fruitful 2022. Now that you have been set up for success go out there and reach all your goals.
